Jerrod Johnson, PsyD

Whether you’re navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship concerns, self-esteem, identity issues, or changes in thinking and memory, you don’t have to figure it out alone.
My Story
I’m Jerrod Johnson, PsyD—a licensed clinical psychologist and neuropsychologist—offering both psychotherapy and comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for children (6+), adults, and older adults.
My Approach
I believe healing happens through both understanding and action—knowing why something is happening and learning what to do next. Whether through therapy or testing, my goal is to help you gain clarity, flexibility, and a sense of direction so life feels more manageable and aligned with who you want to be.
Next Steps
If you're ready to begin therapy or need answers through an evaluation, I’m here to help. Reach out with any questions or to schedule a consultation.
Integrated Support for Emotional Wellness and Brain Health
Psychotherapy: ACT & Trauma-Informed Care
I specialize in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), an evidence-based approach that helps clients build psychological flexibility and move toward what matters—even when pain or fear is present. My work is fully trauma-informed and compassion-focused, supporting healing from trauma, anxiety, emotional avoidance, grief, and relationship wounds. I also work extensively with LGBTQ+ clients, particularly gay men navigating intimacy, shame, family-of-origin trauma, and identity development. My style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in deep respect for each person’s lived experience. In therapy, I help clients make room for emotions, unhook from painful thoughts, and build a life aligned with what matters most.
Neuropsychological Testing Across the Lifespan
I provide comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for children, teens, adults, and older adults (ages 6 through senior). Assessments address ADHD, learning disorders, autism, memory loss, dementia, mild cognitive impairment, brain injury, concussion, stroke, and seizure-related changes. I also conduct evaluations for academic accommodations and diagnostic clarification when symptoms overlap or feel confusing. Every evaluation includes clear results, practical recommendations, and personalized guidance you can use immediately at home, school, or work.
